Events and Public Relations

Helped plan and execute events during my internship with TALK Greenville.

When I interned with TALK Greenville, I was given the opportunity to help plan and execute their annual 25 Most Beautiful Women in the Upstate event. It was a cocktail reception in Downtown Greenville honoring 25 women who were nominated because of the immense good they have done for the community. I helped with social media promotion of the event via Facebook and Twitter. I also helped decorate the event site and make sure it ran smoothly by checking guests in and maintaining the flow of the event schedule.

LivingSocial Ladies' Night Public Relations Campaign

During my internship with MSLGROUP, myself and four other interns were given the task of creating a complete public relations campaign for a client, LivingSocial. Our goal was to target female millennials ages 21-27 and encourage them to buy deals from LivingSocial. We were given a budget of $100,000 and chose to do a 6 month long campaign kicking off in the Fall season. This is the resulting slideshow we created and presented to the Senior Executives of MSLGROUP's Boston office.
